Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hablo mobile application provided by YSTL. By creating an account or using Hablo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Hablo. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your Account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

License

YSTL grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Hablo for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

Acceptable Use & Zero Tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to:

• Post or send content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate others, stalk, or harass any user.
• Spam, solicit, or distribute malware or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the app’s operation.

Violations may result in immediate content removal and account termination.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely to operate the app. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

Safety, Reporting & Moderation

You can block any user and report objectionable content or behavior from within the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content by removing it and/or removing the user, typically within 24 hours. Blocking is enforced so blocked users cannot see or contact you.

Meeting People & Location

Hablo helps you discover and connect with people nearby. We do not verify users and are not responsible for interactions that occur in person. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and prioritize your safety. Location data may be inaccurate; do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services (such as Supabase, Google Maps Platform, and push providers). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YSTL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
